Be a difference maker, with Learning Care Group. We are a community of collaborative, bold, fun, dedicated individuals, whose passion is the many children we guide, teach, and protect every day. As early education leaders, we’re making a strong, lasting, positive impact on children. Here, you’ll find a dynamic environment and culture that is open, friendly, welcoming, and collaborative. Are you ready to be an inspiring, innovative force that prepares children for elementary school—and beyond? Their future begins now. And so does yours.

Cascade Summit Montessori School, established in 1999, inspires children 18 months through Kindergarten to learn through discovery!

Cascade Summit Montessori School is an affiliate of Montessori Unlimited and offers a competitive salary and benefits – including a generous student tuition benefit for our faculty and staff.

We are looking for individuals who thrive working in a team environment and that are looking for the opportunity to experience the joy of gently guiding the daily experiences of children in an authentic Montessori community.

Full and part-time positions are available.

The Montessori Method of Education, developed by Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children. Montessori programs offer a unique, mixed-age classroom environment, for children approximately 3 to 5 years old. Children engage in individual learning experiences, as well as one-on-one interactions, which are integral to the Montessori Method.

Our Head of School and Education Manager are MACTE-accredited, certified Directresses, ensuring a depth of quality Montessori support for our faculty, families and students. Our caring, experienced faculty members provide rich educational experiences for each child while guiding them through the Montessori classroom at the child’s individual pace. Our teachers collaborate and support each other as they celebrate each child’s daily achievements. Training and on-going professional development is provided for all teachers to advance in knowledge and roles.

Consider joining a team where you can join in the joy of learning through discovery!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Are accountable for the delivery of an authentic Montessori program.

  • Supervise the classroom, helping the children to think creatively, to solve problems independently and respect themselves and others.

  • Spark imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day.

  • Guide children in self-motivated learning, helping stimulate their natural desire to learn.

  • Are responsible for reporting challenges, successes and competencies of each student to the Director or to parents on a regular basis.

  • Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines

  • Communicate directly with parents to achieve success for the child.

  • Have countless advancement opportunities through our on-going training

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Montessori Certification

  • Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, preferably a Montessori school

  • Associate’s degree, AMS/AMI or a MACTE accredited training certificate

  • The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience

  • Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
