Duties and Responsibilities of this Inside Sales position:
Selling Deltek’s Vantagepoint (Deltek for Professional Services) ERP solution to net new customers into the SMB management consulting vertical (1-25 employee size companies).
Emphatically cold calling, developing opportunities, positioning Deltek's value propositions, and managing the full sales cycles throughout negotiation and close
Ability to work with a cross functional teams including, Sales Development, Sales Engineers, Solution Services and Delivery, Product Marketing and Support to provide a complete solution and an exceptional sales evaluation experience.
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com while driving a predictable sales pipeline and forecast.
Ability to quickly build trust and relationships as a trusted advisor with business owners, executives, and/or key stakeholders
Driving interest and developing new opportunities through constant cold calling
Use best practice techniques from frameworks such as Challenger, Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, Strategic Selling or SPIN Selling to drive successful sales cycles.
Continued education of evolving sales practices, industry and product knowledge
Operating as the “CEO” of your territory
Work Location:US Portland, OR Qualifications:
1-4+ years’ experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, Account Management, Inside Sales or related field (ERP and/or software sales experience a plus)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Must have a working knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM
High level of phone conversation competence and confidence required
Basic presentation skills utilizing web meeting technology, PowerPoint and phone conferencing systems.
Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding metrics based sales plans.
Demonstrated skills and training in professional sales methodology such as Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, Strategic Selling or SPIN Selling.
Knowledge of basic college level accounting or higher.
Fluency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Exceptional customer service skills and personable phone skills. Willingness to take ownership and work outside of one's comfort area.
Creativity in finding positive solutions to challenges.
Demonstrable high level written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity in selling SaaS based software a plus.
Willing and able to travel as needed (<10%)
Hungry, driven and self-motivated with the aptitude to work autonomously.
