MCMC is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation Services to join their team!

Plans, organizes and directs multiple clinical departments in alignment with organization strategic initiatives for designated organization wide programs and operational/function areas. Oversees an array of operational/functional areas. May be assigned non-clinical departments as well. Directs all aspects of key initiatives and programs for multiple departments to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and the organization.
Responsible for planning, organizing, developing, interpreting and implementing programs, goals, objectives, budgets and policies and procedures in alignment with MCMC strategic goals and objectives. Leads by example to embrace the Planetree Patient Center Philosophy and strives to meet or exceed the standard for a culture of excellence or engagement, accountability, patient care, customer service, safety, quality and organization change.
Graduate of a 3-5 year graduate level program (approved by the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the AMA and APTA) leading to a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in one of the following rehabilitative fields: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Therapy.
Additional education in the field of management or education is preferred.Must be currently licensed in one of the following Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist/Speech Therapist in the State of Oregon.
Professional membership with active participation in the APTA/AOTA/ASHA preferred
Current CPR/AED Certification
Proven track record of achieving targeted goals and objectives aligned to organization initiatives through collaborative and cross departmental efforts.
Minimum of five to seven years director level experience in areas related to assigned departments.
Thorough knowledge of operations, including staff and scheduling, budget management and workflow planning.
Experience with using every day technology tools (e.g, email, spreadsheets, word processing, voicemail, internet/intranet) to access, organize and store job-related information.
Experience in billing and patient information regulatory compliance a plus.
Established leadership skills and the ability to get things done through others.
Appropriate delegation and staff mentorship/development skills necessary.
Ability to resolve conflict and gain consensus among all levels of staff, conflict resolution training preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
