Minimum Qualifications Include:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred. Two years of college education or equivalent required
One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
Must have good interpersonal skills
Must ensure confidentiality of patient information and maintain professional standards with regard to patient rapport and medical staff interaction
Must be capable of medium to heavy physical work including lifting and carrying equipment, supplies and patients, pushing and pulling wheelchairs, stretchers, imaging beds and collimator carts. Must be able to bend, pull, stretch and reach to accomplish duties
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire.
Must be currently registered in Nuclear Medicine with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI).
Must be actively registered with either:
Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or
American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT)
