As the Data Entry Clerk, you will handle a range of accounting and finance tasks, including accurate data entry of information into Microsoft Excel as well as ERP systems and databases. This long-term temporary position requires the Data Entry Clerk to be based in Salem, Oregon.

Major responsibilities include:

• Compiling and sorting data for computer entry; establishing entry priorities

• Providing support for data entry and additional administrative tasks

• Acting in accordance with data program techniques and procedures to ensure data entry requirements are met

• Working on special projects as assigned

• Handling highly sensitive information

• Reviewing customer and account source documents for deficiencies

• Utilizing policies and procedures to continue operations; communicating necessary changes

Requirements

• Highly organized and self-motivated

• Candidate must meet a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Can work independently with minimal supervision

• Costing experience highly desired

• Bill of materials (BOM) experience preferred

• Well-founded grasp of pricing

• Expertise in Oracle

• Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
