Working under direct supervision, provides routine day-to-day operations and administrative support for DCS operations. Assists in coordination of budget, process improvement, controls for specialized software and other functions enabling the department to meet objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
Understand business needs and objectives
Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
Define metrics and relevant data sources
Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions
Apply industry and business knowledge to interpret data and develop actionable insights that will drive improved performance
Lead cross-functional projects using data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
Design and build technical processes to address business issues
Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics
Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership and Subject Matter Expert roles
Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders
Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
Analyse program risks and developing and implementing mitigation strategies
Provide Training & Support to ensure successful program implementation within the business
Analyse program data to understand trends and provide actionable insights
Keep up to date with industry trends and solutions and identify and implement solutions that can benefit the DCS business
Keep up to date with solution development within the wider CBRE business and identify and implement solutions that can benefit the DCS business
Interface between different Subject Matter Experts & Senior Leadership Team members to ensure solution alignment and process efficiency
Support solution development of new bids & specific customer engagements as required
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from four year college or university plus a minimum of two years related work experience to include budgeting, finance and or business analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work experience related to specific department or business unit function preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Spreadsheet skill set to include advanced functions such as graphics, pivot tables.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
