Logistics Reception and Dispatch Technician A busy local company is looking to add a Logistics Reception and Dispatch Technician to their staff. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient with Microsoft office suite, have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. The ability to read and analyze various customer and supplier documentation is essential. Requirements 'Must have excellent customer service skills. 'High School Diploma or Equivalent 'Be able to work independently and as part of a team. 'A good understanding of receiving and experience in a production environment is necessary. 'Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check. Job Duties 'Greet, check-in, disperse, communicate, and direct all incoming truck and vendor traffic according to company policies. 'Maintain various logs as directed; this requires spreadsheet knowledge and skill. 'Administration duties as needed. Sort mail and scan all invoices and insurance documents. File as needed. Answering and forwarding all incoming phone calls to the correct person or department. Will need to communicate on a two-way radio to truckers and co-workers in the facility as well. 'Occasional lifting, bending, squatting, and reaching while retrieving supplies or components. 'Data entry associated with these duties. 'Communicate safety and security protocols and concerns. Control and monitor the cameras throughout the facility. 'Make sure the scale computers are up and working, and if the is a problem, look for a solution 'Schedule Loads to other facilities in Appointment Plus software. 'Other duties as assigned Schedule 'Monday - Thursday, 5:45 am - Close. 10-hour plus days depending on truck traffic. Overtime should be expected on scheduled days. 'Occasional coverage on Fridays. Rate of Pay '$16.00 per hour.
