WorkSource Oregon Service Operations Support in Portland, Oregon

Standard TV and Appliance is family owned, Oregon based, and has operated since 1947. We are looking to fill the Service Operations Support position. This individual will perform a wide variety of administrative duties and support for the Service Department. Uses knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, database, and email programs to communicate, collect, and format data. Support departments when in need due to turn over or absence of employees. Perform additional tasks as requested. Essential Functions: Learn and maintain knowledge on all procedures of the Service Department, including but not limited to: Service and Install dispatch, Parts as well as Accounting. Work with various departments, including but not limited to, Service/Install Dispatch, Sales, Customer Relations, and Parts Department to resolve a variety of customer issues. Assist management with assembling, conducting, and tracking staff training. Develop department policy and procedure adherence programs, identify staff shortcomings to management, and assist with re-training/compliance as needed. Establish and maintain a variety of records, logs, and filing systems in an orderly, neat, and understandable fashion. Minimum Qualifications: Proficient use with computers including advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must pay close attention to detail.
