Oracle Senior Private Equity Business Development Manager, Oracle ISV Ecosystem in Portland, Oregon

Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle. A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the products sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close. Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 12 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to Travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable. *This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado. As Senior Private Equity Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to help us shape the strategy and delivery of programs designed to broaden and track the use of the Oracle Cloud within the PE community specifically focused on their technology/ISV portfolio companies. We are looking for someone who will help drive initiatives that improve the overall effectiveness of the business development and sales organization. Responsibilities of this role include developing new strategy and programs specific to PE firms, creating metrics to measure success, refining processes and owning the program’s success. You will partner with business development, sales, Cloud development and marketing teams to develop and drive program success. The ideal candidate will have a strong program management background with experience creating and running medium to large projects. The candidate will also have a proven track record of simultaneously driving multiple project timelines to meet program objectives. You will have a strong understanding and ideally background of working with PE Firms, ISVs, and Cloud solutions. Role & Responsibilities * Serve as a key member to create and scale program * Develop ideas on how to develop activities and processes to attract PE firms and their technology portfolio companies * Gather requirements from appropriate business owners, write clear and detailed processes, prioritize features, and execute on programs goals * Manage the entire lifecycle of the initiatives you are responsible for, including showing success and developing on further iterations * Define, measure and utilize program KPIs to improve the overall program * Manage numerous requests concurrently and prioritize when necessary * Work closely with the sales teams to understand new content, programs and support the team can provide to help drive closure on our highest priority engagements * Understand the business goals and adoption of our customers and partners, and work to develop new and innovative ways to connect them with our service teams and executives. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, finance or a related quantitative field · 8 years of business development, strategic partnerships, sales leadership management consulting or program/product management experience Preferred Qualifications * MBA or equivalent relevant business experience * Strong operational experience preferably in a marketing, sales or business function * Ability to deep dive/analyze data using advanced Excel, SQL and other analytical tools * Operational savviness, ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously, keeping focus on execution and delivering results consistently * Demonstrated ability to interact with senior executives to both understand their requirements, and to discuss proposed programs and engagements * Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations * Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills * Demonstrated understanding and savviness in the PE space and common patterns of success for their technology/ISV portfolio companies Job: Sales* *Organization: Oracle *Title: *Senior Private Equity Business Development Manager, Oracle ISV Ecosystem Location: United States Requisition ID: 21000FVW
