Providence Health & Services Senior Clinical Research Assistant in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a
Senior Clinical Research Assistant
to Providence St. Vincent Mob East Pavilion in Portland, OR. This position will support clinical trials in epilepsy and MS. Work schedule is Days, Mon-Fri and benefits begin on your hire date.
In this position, you will:
Function under the supervision of research supervisor to perform clinical research activities.
Facilitate the conduct of clinical trials, with low to moderate complexity, by working collaboratively with sponsors, monitors, investigators, regulatory/contract CRA, and IRB to establish research plans and project timetables and coordinate resources needed to ensure productivity and timely completion of project.
Perform duties that include subject screening and enrollment, collecting research data and sample, and working with internal and external partners to support clinical trials in Providence Brain and Spine Institute.
Required qualifications for this position include:
1 year of experience with clinical research and/or direct patient interaction
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft applications, Internet, and e-mail
Proficiency in using other office electronic equipment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor degree in science or health related field
Experience with clinical trials, neuroscience, medical terminology, electronic medical record
Direct patient experience
1 year of clinical trials experience
