Providence is calling a Senior Clinical Business Analyst Lead, Physician Services to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA or Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Business Analyst Lead, Physician Services to be responsible for providing advanced clinical business analytics support for the ambulatory quality team supporting the medical groups across the system, including but not limited to the Healthy Planet work. This role will lead the design validation, clinical input gathering, and identifying improvements in the clinical tools. This position will be a key participant in the design of the Healthy Planet tool in Epic for Providence and Swedish and will support the analytical review of clinical content. This role interfaces with the Epic application team that will be building the technical specifications for the population health tools in Epic. This position will also be a leader in representing the medical group across the system in strategic initiatives like regulatory clinical reporting (PQRS, MACRA, MSSP, etc). This includes leading the clinical strategic projects, providing expert consultation in clinical metrics across the system, and triage of project requests received from the field and leadership of major projects within Physician Services.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manages small to medium sized projects and leads or fulfills primary roles in large complex projects.
Completes business analysis planning and monitoring for key stakeholder groups and provide effective communication to those groups.
Completes problem definition and analysis and assists in business case development.
Leads and facilitates group discussions to elicit customer and quality requirements for complex projects.
Documents user requirements, validates requirements with business customer(s) and participates with IS colleagues in system requirement development.
Assesses and validates technical solution requests and IS recommendations.
Analyzes current clinical system processes to complete current state analysis; performs gap analysis, and develops future state standardized workflows.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or other healthcare related areas.
7 years’ of progressive responsibility in managing projects and doing business analytics.
3 years’ experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters degree (MHA or similar)
Project management, LEAN,CAP and other change management skills.
Clinical analytics experience or background.
Specialized training in facilitation of diverse groups.
