U.S. Bank Scrum Master in PORTLAND, Oregon
U.S. Bank is seeking a Scrum Master to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. You will be working on a well-established team that serves the Financial Crimes division of the Technology and Operations department of US Bank. That is right! We catch the bad guys who want to launder drug money or try to channel funds into terrorist organizations.
We implement Anti Money Laundering regulations for information systems to find sanctioned companies and individuals attempting to open accounts or obtain loans. The applications we create also help establish a risk rating for prospects and customers.
In order to meet upcoming challenges to build a new customer facing web site the WebKYC team is looking for an ambitious individual who has at least 3 continuous recent years of experience as a Scrum Master.
The team has a dedicated production support subdivision to respond when users encounter problems or a system components is in trouble. This allows our Scrum Team to focus on design, development and maintenance.
We follow the Agile approach to software development and utilize Scrum of Scrums on the enterprise program level. However, not all teams we interfaces with utilize Agile methodologies, and that case we need the successful candidate to act as a Development Lead.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Three or more years of experience in Agile technology delivery and tools
Three or more years of Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
One or more years of experience in a Scrum environment, preferably in SAFe, Kanban or financial services industry
CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or SA (SAFe Agilist), or SSM (SAFe Scrum Master) certifications
Demonstrate clear understanding of Agile principles
Demonstrate clear understanding of Scrum Ceremonies
At least 5 years of experience leading Agile Development
Communicate concisely in both oral and written English
Experience with Web Applications – as a Developer or a QA Analyst
Communication with multiple scrum teams (Scrum or Scrums)
Preferred experience in VersionOne
