Job Description Summary

Plans, schedules, and develops proposals, including assembly of proposal elements, e.g. strategy, design, cost, qualifications, etc. in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications and internal team input. Accountable for ensuring proposals are responsive to RFP requirements. Develops and drives timeline and internal and external proposal process coordination. Facilitates coordination of partner inputs, both internal (practices, legal review, marketing, finance, engineering, etc.) and external (proposal partners, supporting parties, market partners, customers, etc.) Develops and monitors workload and resource allocation to plan for and support proposal efforts. Facilitates and collaborates in strategy development, including win themes, storyboarding, storyline, etc. Leads communication before, during and after proposal processes e.g. pursuit processes, go/no go discussions, internal debriefs, client follow up, win / loss notification, etc. Monitors RFP websites, databases, and email for notification of RFP releases, communicates to relevant staff on released or upcoming RFPs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Accountable for ensuring proposals are responsive to requirements of RFP’s or RFI (Requests for Information), and are aligned with proposal strategy and design components. Work collaboratively with a region’s business development, operations team, and national service lines to develop compelling proposal responses. Manage all aspects of proposal development including writing the scope of work, coordinating budget development, project management, proposal design, and compliance management. Create original content, utilize and edit existing content, and provide copy editing to ensure alignment towards wining proposals.
