Oregon Health & Science University Postdoctoral Scholar in Portland, Oregon
The Ruhland Lab studies tumor- and self-antigen trafficking and presentation in the context of cancer and autoimmunity. We aim to better understand the cell and molecular biology underlying productive T priming in the lymph node with the ultimate goal of finding new immunotherapeutic targets. Our research focuses on dendritic cell context-specific programming and downstream T cell responses using models of skin inflammation and melanoma. We utilize cutting-edge microscopy techniques, complex reporter mouse models and diverse molecular- and cell-biological techniques focused on immune modulation.
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to join our team and help move our science forward. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly interactive, but capable of working independently. They will have a strong and demonstrated interest in the area of immunology and/or tumor microenvironment. Specific projects will be determined by the applicant’s skill set and articulated research interests.
