The Materials Handler will report to the Materials Manager and will be responsible for receiving, resupply of the manufacturing floor, light assembly, and warehouse upkeep. The ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with a high attention to detail are key attributes for this position. The Materials Handler will be expected to work in a warehouse, team environment with dexterity and physical stamina performing daily tasks.
Description of Duties
Perform day-to-day operational warehouse tasks
Loading and unloading of materials
Maintaining inventory of materials
Picking, unboxing and delivery of materials
Utilize handheld tools
Maintain accurate data entry
Utilize multiple computer systems and programs
Operate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales and forklifts
Stocking and moving material correctly throughout the warehouse
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years’ work experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to use basic hand tools
Preferred Qualifications
Previous fulfillment center or warehouse experience
Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
Experience within consumer electronics
