Providence is calling a ITM Data Analyst PSJH to Providence Health & Services in Portland, OR or Renton, WA.

We are seeking a ITM Data Analyst PSJH to join the Integrated Talent Management Learning and Delivery team. This position provides data analysis relating to processes, programs, and policies including strategic workforce planning, talent and performance management, leadership development, turnover, diversity, and surveys. This position analyzes quantitative and qualitative data, spots data trends, performs gap analysis, and communicates findings through reports, dashboards, and other reporting modalities. This position will work closely with ITM leadership and business functions. This is a full time position Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provides analytical communications support for data analysis processes and systems within Integrated Talent Management.

  • Works with other HR functions, IT support staff, and vendors to deliver services as appropriate.

  • Develops a thorough understanding of talent and performance management, survey, turnover, learning and development, and strategic workforce planning processes and translate this knowledge to reporting and analytics requirements.

  • Reviews relevant data, conducts appropriate analytics, and prepares flawless materials in support of assigned processes.

  • Actively partners with relevant stakeholders; gathering and reviewing of critical inputs to the overall analysis requests and deliverables.

  • Applies reasoning and uses available technology and tools to examine information, interpret results and arrive at well-founded, logical conclusions.

  • Proactively recommends improvements to current measurement approaches and metrics collection processes.

  • Investigates, resolves and performs follow up tasks on analytics systems and related problems.

  • Documents analysis processes, decisions, and designs.

  • Performs data validation tests and provides test validation exercises to end users prior to publishing dashboards and reports. Updates documentation in a timely manner to reflect changes required.

  • Proactively collaborates with principal consultants, learning architects and designers to build out measurement strategy and plan to validate and support interventions impact on business goals and strategies.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3 Years of relevant analytical experience or 5 to 7 years of relevant analytical experience.

  • Strong background in researching and solving problems

  • Demonstrated advanced skills in Excel, MS Access or SQL, and other analytics tools like Tableau.

  • Experience performing analytics with an ability to synthesize complex data and processes.

  • Able to spot trends or patterns within data sets, and determine causality from different data sets.

  • Proactive and solution focused with an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across various organizations and at multiple levels from executives to individual contributors and external vendors.

  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills and ability to work independently.

  • Knowledge of workflow analysis, business systems design, systems and data validation procedures and troubleshooting applications.
