As a Contract Administrator, you will perform procurement and contract administrator functions for new deals, change orders to existing deals, and ensure contractual compliance for the Vendor Management Office Vendors. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Set up and maintain all files in and out of the procurement systems

  • Prepare, review, execute, and manage the process for approval of contracts and change orders

  • Set up new Requests for Proposal (RFPs)

  • Execute all forms of RFx

  • Ensure processes are in place for processing payments and invoices for VMO vendors and contracts

  • Maintain up-to-date VMO vendor spend summaries and details

  • Manage and resolve minor contractual disputes

  • Act as liaison to other IT teams and business units to represent the VMO and the content of contracts management

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science, or related field

  • 5 years of experience working as a Contract Administrator, Paralegal, Project Manager or similar role

  • Ability to perform complex analysis of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems

  • Proficiency with Windows applications and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources; ability to develop, recommend, and implement solutions

  • Ability to work extended hours including weekends; able to travel occasionally between regions and corporate headquarters

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively work on multiple projects in a rapidly-changing environment

  • Team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to collaborate effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization
