Aerotek Healthcare Customer Service Agent in PORTLAND, Oregon

A prominent Healthcare company in Portland is seeking to add Customer Service Agents to their team! This position will allow you to work from home after training.

Description:

Seeking multiple customer service professionals to support their clients as either a Qualifications Specialist OR Validation Specialist

Qualification Specialist (7)

Perform Insurance Verification

Gather medical documentation required to meet specific insurance company's guidelines

Submit and obtain insurance prior authorizations via fax, online portal entry, mail, etc for equipment prior to delivery whenever possible

Review documentation to assure pay coverage criteria is met when a prior authorization cannot be obtained from the insurance company

Follow up with therapists and physicians when DWOs, DPDs, chart notes, and LMNs are not received per Norco protocol

Stay abreast of industry updates and Medicare changes

Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Validation Specialist (3)

Complete claim submission process once all documentation has been properly received according to payer guidelines

Monitor and work Validations errors and reports

Comply will all federal and state payer regulatory policies regarding claim processing

Complete necessary follow up protocol applicable for prior authorization, reauthorization and unreturned documents

Work to insure patient information is kept up to date and complete Account Status changes

Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service preferred

  • Clear English is a must, they are going to be speaking to elderly patients over the phone who may be hard of hearing.

  • High empathy for patients/customers is a must have
