Patricia Carlile with Robert Half Finance and Accounting has an open position at a fast-growing company for an outstanding Financial Analyst. In this Financial Analyst position, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. In addition to preparing reports for management, you will help advise management on the distribution of resources to best complete objectives. Forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management will be some of your focus areas as a business partner on this dynamic team. As the Financial Analyst, your main duties will include ad-hoc financial analysis to assist senior management, streamline processes, contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting packages, report and analyze revenue trends, and assemble and summarize data. In this role, you will be directly involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. This Financial Analyst role is located just south of Portland off of the I-5 corridor, and it is a full-time employment opportunity. They are currently remote but will eventually move to a hybrid model.

Work on monthly and quarterly financial close processes in collaboration with the Accounting team
Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support
Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives through the development of financial models and insights on topics.
This position requires a flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information
Have a thorough understanding of internal and external drivers and be able to explain how they are impacting performance and trending
Keep tabs on monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations, ensuring that business partners handle their resources
Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Edit and manage forecasting reports

What you need to bring to be successful:
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Firm understanding of accounting
Financial analysis experience
SaaS / Tech experience a plus
Intellectual curiosity. Desire to grow, learn, and focus on process improvement.
Strong communication and social skills with all levels of the organization
Ability to pull from one system and in to another
Well-founded grasp of forecasting & modeling
Proven knowledge of NetSuite and or Microsoft Dynamics
