InFocus Corporation e-Commerce Content Specialist in Portland, Oregon

The objective of this role is to grow e-Commerce sales by improving the presentation of InFocus products on partner websites with informative and compelling product information.

Responsible for identifying and driving all e-commerce-related digital content creation (Amazon A+/WebCollage, optimized titles/bullets, enhanced images, e-tail store pages) in addition to all search operations including management of keyword search and optimizing online content. Assist internal and remote sales teams with all e-commerce channels (B2B, D2C) including partner sites, Amazon and the InFocus Store to ensure content is achieving sales goals. Research competitive data to understand current industry trends, to stay competitive, and develop best practices for e-commerce content as it pertains to site merchandising and the online user experience. Partner closely with sales, marketing, and product management to ensure all content is up to date, accurate and drives conversion to sale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure content distribution partners have valid and up-to-date information and content (CNET, web collage, etc.)

  • Work with sales to identify and review partner websites featuring InFocus products.

  • Identify and work with contact person at each e-tailer/DMR to update product information in coordination with InFocus sales

  • Identify e-tail target customers and edit content to address their needs

  • Manage product page SEO including image alt tags, page title text, product title text and body copy

  • Adapt marketing content as needed for online sales, including:

  • Locate, collect and upload product images

  • Create infographics using existing imagery and Photoshop

  • Edit images and/or overlay text and gradients as needed for ecommerce product page templates

  • Write content callouts to highlight features and benefits in a way that best suits each website’s format and drives sales conversion

  • Present stories that differentiate InFocus products from competition

  • Manage, update and write technical product specs

  • Analyze sales data to determine what’s working and what needs improvement

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree along with 2-5 years’ experience in e-commerce and/or sales & marketing

  • Prior project management experience

  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

  • Track record of prioritizing and successfully delivering multiple initiatives on time

  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on solving problems and achieving goals

  • Basic+ ability with Photoshop

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
