Oracle Cloud Enablement Specialist in Portland, Oregon

The Instructional Designer will produce the courseware to support the training programs defined by Program Managers. This includes conducting needs assessments to identify strategically aligned learning and development initiatives, designing and developing training courseware in a variety of delivery modes (e.g., instructor led training, self-paced training, virtual, blended), managing external vendors to collaborate in content creation, as well as providing input on measures regarding business impact and effectiveness of deployed learning solutions.

Contribute to the design, develop, and deploy world class blended learning programs that are experiential, drive behavior change and increase performance within our global Sales business units as directed by senior staff. Develop learning curricula that align with internal learning and performance strategies. Build and maintain valued relationship with key stakeholders (Regional sales management, performance teams, instructional design teams and external vendor executives). Develop assessment approaches that conform to accreditation strategies and processes. Evaluate the business impact of learning programs through use of learning and performance metrics.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Typically 5 plus years relevant experience in Sales and Sales Enablement plus knowledge in the Applications, Technology or Hardware sectors is needed. Coaching and Project Management experience across a variety of delivery mediums. Deep experience designing and developing learning programs across delivery mediums including mobile learning, e-learning, virtual learning, live simulation, and live classroom. Proficient in establishing learning and performance metrics and measurements (ROI & Benchmarking). Strong in building relationships and maintaining relationships. Experience in analyzing business needs and selling value to customers. Previous project/program management experience. Experience delivering facilitation, training, coaching and/or development of learning programs. Self starter with high energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment. Excellent communication, facilitation and persuasive skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build strong relationships and navigate through senior stakeholder discussions. Experience leveraging standard eLearning tools and web-based meeting tools. Team player. Leadership skills. Business travel of up to 30 percent annually may be expected of this position. Knowledge of Instructional design authoring tools preferred. Fluency in English, working knowledge of other languages is an asset. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

Role: Cloud Enablement Specialist (Sales Performance Designer 3)

Location:Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Redwood City, CA, Burlington, MA, or Minneapolis, MN

This position is responsible for creating and delivering training content for Oracle Application Sales Reps and Solution Engineers (Presales). This includes delivering and facilitating webcasts on a monthly basis and creation of eLearning content. The Enablement specialist will produce courseware for a variety of high-volume fast-paced projects on Oracle s portfolio of Application solutions.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

  • Strong learning solutions design and experience in creation of eLearning content

  • Strong technical skills with web conference tools such as Zoom

  • Proven experience in executing and facilitating live virtual web conferences

  • Knowledgeable in current eLearning practices; Apply various design process models (e, g, ADDIE), learning theories and types in an AGILE or project workflow environment

  • Tech-savvy individual, able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

  • Proven experience with Adobe Captivate and TechSmith Camtasia or other best of breed authoring tools

  • Ability to strategize and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define measurable learning objectives and goals, and present solutions/plans

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to think critically and attention to detail

  • Exceptional Project Management skills

  • Self-starter with ability to manage time and objectives independently in a fast paced, high volume environment

  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge related to projects in order to execute on courseware scripts and design

  • Ability to positively receive feedback and incorporate into future projects

  • Bachelor s Degree, in relevant subject is a plus

  • 2 years of professional experience in eLearning development

  • Ability to travel up to 10% annually (domestic and international)

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and deliver a variety of global, role based, or line of business sales and solution engineer training (eLearning)

  • Create, deliver and facilitate a variety of global webcast based training

  • Manage the design, development and deployment of product, process and skills enablement programs that drive elite performance within Oracle s global sales organization and partners

  • Build and maintain valued relationship with senior stakeholders

  • Coordinate with regional sales, sales consulting, alliances, and product management teams
