POSITION SUMMARY The Mental Health Therapist will provide intake and assessment services as well as individual, group and family therapy. Referral and follow up services. Hours of work are flexible to meet program needs, with some evenings and weekends. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES 'Provide intakes and assessments for individuals at Wellness Center, an integrated healthcare site. 'Provide individual, group, couple, family, and multifamily therapy sessions. 'Serve as consultant and liaison with referral sources and treatment providers. 'Complete written diagnostic assessments and impressions, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and other documentation in required timeframes. Create realistic, measurable treatment plans. 'Complete treatment success measures and collect outcome data, as needed. 'Provide crisis intervention services, as needed, including referral and follow up. 'Participate in community mental health awareness and community outreach programs of NARA-NW. 'Provide referral, follow up, and outreach services, as needed. 'Participate in integrated-care meetings, site-specific meetings, and mental-health staff meetings, as needed. 'Participate in quality assurance activities including chart reviews. 'Attend and provide relevant training, as assigned. 'Perform other duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS 'Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or psychiatric nursing 'Two years' paid experience as Mental Health Specialist with dual-diagnosis experience 'Licensed as Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist 'Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), preferred 'Experience: (1) sobriety: minimum of two years sobriety/clean time, if in recovery for substance use disorder, (2) work within Native American/Alaska Native community, a plus 'Abilities: (1) maintain professional boundaries with clients, community, and staff members, (2) work collaboratively with clients, NARA staff, team members and treat everyone with respect and dignity at all times, (3) pass pre-employment criminal background investigation, (4) pass check by Oregon Division of Driver and Motor Vehicles, (5) pass pre-employment or for-cause drug tests, and (6) pass Criminal Records Information Management System (CRIMS) fingerprinting and background check
