Northwest Permanente Primary Care Virtual Medical Director in Portland Metro Area, Oregon
Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking a Medical Director for development and management of our Primary Care virtual programs. The Medical Director is accountable for the performance and operational oversight of the physician and affiliated clinician resources attached to the Primary Care department's virtual service lines. The Medical Director will lead a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team focused on driving organizational quality, integration and outcomes. They will be responsible for supporting development of clinical guidelines and continuous improvement of virtual programs centered on patient access and satisfaction, physician training and development, along with identification and adoption of new technology and virtual care delivery models.
The Primary Care Virtual Medical Director will provide direct patient care as part of their weekly schedule. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, have experience with virtual program implementation and leading a team of care providers in a clinical setting, have a strong skill set in creating evidence-based, best-practice protocols and have a desire to challenge the conventional in search of delivering a better healthcare experience.
