Northwest Permanente Neurosurgeon in Portland Metro Area, Oregon
You are a “well rounded” BC/BE Neurosurgeon desiring to work for a physician-led, physician-owned, and professionally managed medical group in Portland, Oregon. You would enjoy a practice as a Northwest Permanente Adult General Neurosurgeon and be a part of our Comprehensive Stroke Center and Spine Program; preferably, incorporating pituitary, complex brain, as well as spine and some peripheral nerve surgery into your everyday practice. Candidates with cerebrovascular or endovascular neurosurgery experience preferred but not necessary. However, you should ideally feel comfortable with some aneurysm clipping. Call not typically more frequent than 1:4 and you would be taking call with an Advanced Practice Clinician who provides “first call” coverage, call is generally consultative in nature. Not a trauma center. You have a collaborative mindset; your preference is to work as a team and would fit well with our five employed attending Neurosurgeon partners/mentors, one employed attending Neuro-interventionalist and five employed Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Clinicians. You are comfortable with digital health care - phone and video visits are easily incorporated into your practice.
You prefer to work for a medical group that cares for its Physicians, a medical group that offers total rewards compensation:
Rich Health Care & Dental Plans
Paid Vacation, Education/CME, Sabbatical and Sick Leave
Robust Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Modern tools and equipment including an O-arm and Stealth navigation for cranial work
Beyond your clinical practice, you have a social mission that aligns with Northwest Permanente’s B Corp Status – not only is it important to prosper – it is also important to care for your community and planet. Helping kids read - assuring seniors have food to eat - working for a company that strives to reach it’s carbon neutral status by 2025 all speak to you.
