This job was posted by : For more information, please see: &&&&Operations Supervisor&&&&&&The Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC- Nampa, ID&&&&&&&&&The Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor, at our Nampa factory, to supervise factory operations from sugar beets to sugar and co-products in a safe and efficient manner following Good Manufacturing Practices and the Company’s quality program. The Operations Supervisor guides operations personnel to ensure maximum production and minimum costs consistent with the overall goals of the company and its grower-owners.&&&&More specifically the Operations Supervisor will supervise the factory production and operations in accordance with the Operating Instructions, company policies and the union agreement. This supervisor provides direct supervision to assigned crew(s) during campaign, inter-campaign and maintenance periods, in accordance with all company Safety, HR, and Quality policies, as well as other policies where applicable. This includes responsibilities related to personnel scheduling, time management, discipline, performance reviews, incident investigations, and other supervisorial duties as required.&&&&&&&&&The Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC is built on innovation and is a proud leader in the sugar industry and that can only happen with the best people. Qualified candidates need to be dynamic and need to be able to work successfully in a fast paced, fluid environment.&&&&&&&&&&&Additional Responsibilities:&&&&&ul&&li&Responsible for training and maintaining a safe and efficient crew to include training on proper job procedures.&/li&&li&Responsible for personnel safety and the communication of safety throughout the factory, including responsibility for crew safety training, certifications, and equipment licensing.&/li&&li&Responsible for supervising and insuring proper maintenance and repairs of factory equipment, as well as new equipment installation and commissioning during inter-campaign.&/li&&li&Manage assigned operating and/or maintenance budgetary accounts.&/li&&li&Develop and manage extra-ordinary budgets and proper account allocation.&/li&&li&Direct authority of factory and warehouse operations in absence of management, including nights, weekends, and holidays.&/li&&li&Responsible for quality control of all products and co-products.&/li&&li&Coordinate with factory management team members in identifying and resolving issues with factory operations, safety, quality, warehousing, environmental, or employee relations.&/li&&li&Capable of developing, analyzing, and communicating process control analysis using PARCview, laboratory analytical data, and MS Excel.&/li&&li&Perform other duties as assigned.&/li&&/ul&
