NTG Groups, LLC Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) in Newport, Oregon
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Analyze samples of blood, tissue and body fluids to determine chemical content, cell count, drug levels or blood type
Preparing the samples for examination using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation
Performing numerous complicated tests simultaneously
Interpreting the results accurately
Works with infectious specimens
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requires 1-year minimum experience as either an MLT or MLS
Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician
Must be ASCP certified
Must have travel experience, experience in a small to medium size hospital preferred
Phlebotomy competency required
EPIC experience required
