Joining us at Nike’s Digital Innovation Lab in NYC, the Product Analyst for the SNKRS App will embed themselves within the app’s digital product management team. They will represent a data and analytics Center Of Excellence for the experience team. With our strategic focus on the evolution of the digital launch business and strengthening the consumer’s connection within the Nike digital ecosystem, this position plays a key role in driving sneaker culture forward for both Nike and the Jordan Brand.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing insights and analysis on consumer engagement, experience, and usage of the SNKRS platform

• Support business reviews and identify testing opportunities

• Perform feature deep dives and provide actionable data driven insights for improvement

• Profiling the SNKRS buyer, create modeled consumer attributes, and identifying opportunities to increase conversion, retention, and frequency

• Analyzing the engagement and marketplace to asses internal and external factors to forecast performance of high-heat product releases

• Ally and partner closely with Digital Technology partners for web analytics implementation, new tools, and diagnostic technologies. Be the bridge between the business and the technical!

• Partner with Digital Product and Technology teams to stay up to date on product updates and enhancements; track and measure platform impact

• Design experiments and evolve our consumer targeting techniques

• Assist in cohort and audience analysis to find our most valuable consumers

• Evaluate performance and drivers of membership and downloads

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or other related technical or analytical field of study or an additional 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree required

• Five or more years of demonstrated experience in Advanced Analytics. Work performed for applications in gaming, app development, eCommerce, or content platforms is a plus.

• Ability to work in multiple data environments and perform complex joins, data cleaning, and feature creation using SQL or SQL based languages (Hive) is required.

• Experience performing advanced analysis and modeling using R or Python is required.

• Experience with Adobe Omniture Suite, Google Analytics, Tableau, or Optimizely is a plus.

• Exceptional ability to analyze data, to provide insights and to make simple and clear recommendations, with the ability to also view the larger picture for widest maximum benefit of each project deliverable required

• Self-driven, proactive and must be able to demonstrate the ability assess multiple, simultaneous business needs and requests

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and to multi-task across different functions of the business, switch workstreams and handle many different levels of requests.

• Coordinate and prioritize team resources, continue timely delivery while constantly developing new solutions and insights to empower the digital business organizations to action and innovation.

• A hunger and drive to inspire a team to use their combined knowledge of the sneaker culture, research methodology, and customer behavior to educate and empower the business to act on provided insights required

• Proven experience building positive working relationships and working successfully in cross-functional teams, including demonstrated success in managing without direct authority.

• Strong understanding of key performance metrics and ability to benchmark against industry, competitive and best practice standards that lead to accomplishing key business goals required

• Familiarity with digital optimization, A/B and multivariate test implementation, analysis and business reviews is a plus.

• A high level of skill in communication in all forms, and the ability to ensure proper team documentation and to coordinate a team’s outward communication, including an ability to craft and present business reviews at an executive level.
