The Rogue Valley Manor, Medford’s premier retirement community is seeking a Full Time Medication Aide for our Home Care Department. The primary purpose of the Home Care Medication Aide is to assist in the administration of medications to residents as ordered by their medical provider, in accordance with established medication administration standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of the agency, and the requirements of the state of Oregon.
The Medication Aide ensures accurate administration of medications while providing thoughtful and compassionate care to residents. The Medication Aide will attend to individual care needs and get to know the resident’s preferences and personalities. Duties include, but are not limited to providing nutritional support, light housekeeping, transportation, shopping and/or errands, assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming. Preferred candidates have strong caregiver background and demonstrate a genuine interest in caring for and supporting older adults through understanding and dedication. Medication Aide Certification is helpful but not required. Requires at least 3 years of Caregiving experience.
