WorkSource Oregon Supported Employment Specialist (HS Spec I) - Job #CS18-063 in McMinnville, Oregon

This is a regular full-time position for a Human Services Specialist I to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing employment services to adults with serious mental illness. Primary duties will include providing services and supports according to the evidenced-based Individual Placement and Support model, assessing clients' occupational functioning, job search assistance, collaboration/coordination with employers, community agencies, and treatment team, benefits planning, job retention services, and documentation. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, typing and computer proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and will be dependable, organized, self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work in a team environment and to interact with co-workers, clients, and the public in a courteous, professional manner. The position requires a Bachelors' degree in behavioral sciences field and at least 1 year of experience in addition to a valid license to drive in Oregon and a good driving record. An appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted for the degree.
