Work Schedules Monday - Thursday 5:00 am 3:30 pm Overtime required As a KEITH Manufacturing Co. Machine Operator 1, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating specific machines during machine production; loading and unloading material or parts from the machine; and making minor adjustment to the machine controls. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Able to read and follow specified layouts, procedures, and operating charts - Able to perform repetitive operations on required machinery in the area - Responsible for checking completed parts to meet KEITH Quality Control standards - All other duties as assigned - Self-directed, requiring little or no supervision - Demonstrates effective verbal, written and communication skills - Maintain a 'customer first' mindset for productivity and quality - Meets agreed upon Company and department goals in a timely manner - Arrives at work, meetings, and appointments on time and as scheduled PERIPHERAL DUTIES - Responsible for communication with Leads and CNC controller regarding setup, controls, or any operating concerns - Able to operate other machinery in the area when necessary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Previous experience preferred - Be at least 18 years of age - May be required to pass employer performance tests - Lean experience preferred - Able to read a tape measure, and precision measurement tools WORKING CONDITIONS - Exposure to continual noise daily from machines - Works in a Machine or Fabrication Shop atmosphere EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED - Various machinery including: CNC Machines, grinder and forklift - Semi-automated welding equipment (Sub-Arc) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Able to sit or stand for up to 10 hours - Able to lift up to 25 lbs PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES - Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills - Strong written and oral communication skills - Ability and willingness to follow directions - Self-motivated to detail - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment - ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance - Profit Sharing Program - Paid Time Off - 401(k) Savings Plan - Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment - Short Term Disability KEITH Manufacturing Co. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
