Mary's Woods Medication Technician Training Course - Paid Training in Lake Oswego, Oregon

We seek those that are passionate about providing the highest quality of care, with a commitment to Long term Care and a desire for an excellent working environment. We will train you!

It is the primary responsibility of the student, once selected to participate in the Mary?s Woods Medication Technician Training Course, to acquire the skills and knowledge by completing the entire course

You will be paid $13.25 an hour during the training and class. Space is limited so do not hesitate to apply!

To be successful in our training course, the students will:

  • Be compassionate, committed, attentive and ready to participate in a fast paced program

  • Be able and willing to assist as a caregiver as needs arise during your workday

  • Participate in working as a team

  • Have at least 6 months caregiving experience

  • Be able to lift 60 pounds, and be on your feet for long periods of time

  • Be able to read, write and understand/comprehend English

After completing the training course, students will be eligible to apply for job openings within Mary?s Woods.

Required Documentation:

  • Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Participation is contingent upon meeting all pre-employment requirements including criminal background investigation as required by the Department of Human Services for Senior Living organizations, a TB test and reference inquiries.

Applications must be submitted by Friday, December 4th to be considered for the training course that begins on Monday, December 14th and the course will run approximately 7 days.

Week 1: Monday - Thursday - 32 hours of training

Week 3: Monday - Thursday - 24 hours of training
