Oracle Sr. SEO Marketing Associate, Demand Generation in Hillsboro, Oregon

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.

*Overview: *

Oracle Bronto is lookingfor an experienced, results-oriented marketer to drive inbound traffic andconversions through content marketing. Specifically, this role will workclosely with the Manager of Demand Generation in growing the Oracle BrontoSEO footprint and organic traffic. Individual responsibilities include keywordresearch, writing content to optimize for targeting organic traffic, andwebpage/landing page construction. The role involves engaging external vendorsand internal resources to achieve lift in website traffic and conversions.

Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for generating demand for Oracle Brontothrough content marketing. The experienced associate in the role will be askedto increase organic website traffic and conversions and develop content andwebpages that will drive incremental demand.

The position responsibilities include, but aren t limited to:

  • Growing performance above benchmarks for organicwebsite traffic and qualified lead conversions attributed to organic/inbound.

  • Managing SEO projects with external (vendor) andinternal resources and acting as the team s expert on SEO.

  • Working closely with internal and external SEMresources to align tactics with paid campaigns.

  • Developing website content and landing pagesthat increase organic performance; including A/B testing a variety ofapproaches

  • Reporting on performance from content marketinginitiatives.

  • Supporting other members of the DemandGeneration team with specific content pieces as needed, including: shortguides, checklists, small ebooks, blog posts, and possibly social posts.

  • Researching content performance across a host ofDemand Gen channels and feeding insights to the team regarding content topicsand formats that resonate.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Search EngineOptimization and content marketing (both writing and measuring content impacton conversions).

  • 3 years experience in website and landing pageexecution including messaging, calls-to-action, and optimization throughtesting.

  • 3 years experience generating reports andanalyses for ROI and budgeting.

  • SaaS business experience in a B2B environment ispreferred. Ideally a focus in marketing to e-commerce businesses.

  • Google Analytics experience required.

  • Strong writing skills are required. Be preparedto share writing samples; ideally B2B content marketing pieces, and speak totheir impact on the business.

  • Ability to edit webpages in HTML is required,CSS and/or Javascript are a plus.

  • Strong vendor/project management skills arerequired.

  • BA/BS in marketing, business or advertisingpreferred.

  • Strong verbal communication skills includingpresenting to executives.

  • Strong teamwork and cross functional skills.
