Job Description

This position provides a challenging technical opportunity in enabling Quality Assurance (QA) automation systems for validating software and firmware solutions used in high volume manufacturing (HVM) of packaged chips.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with developers to understand software functionality requirements.

  • Documenting, implementing and validating software solutions at all layers of the QA automation software stack.

A large portion of both software development and validation includes interfacing directly with hardware components, so a good understanding of basic electronics and ability to read schematics and data sheets is a plus.

This is an internship which will take place in 2021 and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


  • Candidates must be pursuing a BS or MS in Computer engineering degrees.

  • SW development environments and code repositories. Example: Visual Studio, GIT

  • SW scripting languages. Example: Python, Batch, PowerShell

  • Collaborative Software Development. Example: Pair Programming, Code Reviews

Preferred requirements:

  • Working knowledge of minimum 6 months in: C#, TFS, Azure, Agile/SCRUM, Continuous Integration/Deployment systems.
