Intel Software Development Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
Develops software as the primary job function Designs, develops, debugs & tests complex software in any field e.g., systems software, software development tools, applications, drivers, numerical methods, UI's, web. May work directly with companies developing and optimizing compilers, operating systems, and other software technologies. Usually holds an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science.
Specifically, we are looking for a Software Development Engineer to drive the OpenHPC releases and to engage with OpenHPC community. The job responsibilities include the followings.
Contribute packaging, testing, and documentation of new and existing components to the OpenHPC community.
Provide troubleshooting and support via community mailing lists and GitHub.
Identify and implement x86 optimizations of OpenHPC components and methods.
Explore new use cases for future directions of OpenHPC.
Maintain and improve public build and test infrastructure.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous school, industry jobs and/or research experience.
Bachelor's Degree with 4+ year experience in Computer Science or equivalent or Masters Degree with 2 year of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science.
2+ years of hands-on C/C++ programming experience and good troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of networking, storage and compute technologies in a high performance computing environment.
Passion for working with open source communities.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development infrastructure and methodologies.
