Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for secure design, development and operation of Intel's software products and services. Responsibilities may include threat assessments, design of security components, and vulnerability assessment. You will ensure products conform to standards and specifications. You will develop plans and cost estimates and assess projects to analyze risks. You will respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur. You will develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal processes. Maintain substantial knowledge of state of the art security principles, theories, attacks and contributes to literature and conferences. May participate in development of intellectual property. This position requires thorough knowledge of security practices, procedures and capabilities in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous school, industry jobs and/or research experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors in Computer Science, computer engineering or relevant discipline with 4 years of experience or Masters in Computer Science, computer engineering or relevant discipline with 3 years of experience desired or 5+ years in lieu of a degree desired.

Minimum 3 years of experience with the following:

  • Linux and open source experience

  • Able to manage several assignments

  • Experience with Security processes and procedures

  • Experience with static code analysis tools

  • Programming language experience, C, python, etc..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of security and open source experience
