As a Graduate Research Intern, you will be contributing to initiate the design, development, execution and implementation of scientific research projects to fuel Intel's growth in the areas of computing, communication, technology and manufacturing and new business opportunity.
You will also investigate the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products, plan and execute laboratory research, maintain substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, contribute to scientific literature and conferences and may participate in development of intellectual property.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Performing research in the area of Cybersecurity for Autonomous Systems.
Build experimental prototypes
Demonstrate real-world feasibility of cyberattacks
Propose and characterize mitigation approaches
Build PoCs to demonstrate effectiveness of the security solutions.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
The candidate must be pursuing a PhD in STEM with a research focus in cybersecurity for autonomous systems.
1+ years of experience in the following:
Threat modeling and design of security mechanisms.
Simulation environments and development of experimental testbeds.
C/C++ and/or Python programming.
