Intel Engineer Technician in Hillsboro, Oregon
Assembly and Test Oregon Technology Group (ATTD OTD) Engineer Technicians are expected to:
Be responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electromechanical systems, or specialized test equipment.
Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work.
Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
Additionally, in this role:
Assignments are semiroutine in nature.
Work performed within generally defined parameters.
Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Normally receives general instructions on most work.
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Relevant experience can be obtained through school work and/or classes and/or project work and/or internships and/or military training, and/or work experience.
Possess an associate's degree or bachelor's degree or Mechanical or Technical Certification or related maintenance experience of 6+ months or equivalent military training
Willingness to lift 25 pounds (lbs.) climb ladders, and previous experience working in a cleanroom environment
9+ months experience with the use of electrical and/or mechanical measuring devices such as multi-meters, calipers, and micrometers
Willingness to work in non-permit required confined spaces for extended periods of time
Work a compress Shift 5 (days fronted) schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday
Working knowledge of Die Prep tool sets and software
Knowledge of electromechanical systems, including robotic drives, actuators, and microcontrollers
Willingness to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
