Intel College Intern - Legal Representative in Hillsboro, Oregon
This position will support the Intellectual Property Center of Excellence (IPCOE) within Intel Federal. Intel Federal (IFL) is an organization that delivers competitive technologies to the United States Government (USG). In this role you will perform activities related to intellectual property and inventions as it relates to USG contracts. Primary interaction will be with IFL team members, IFL Legal, the Intel Patent Group, and IFL Information Technology.

Core responsibilities include:
Primary tasks will relate to the execution and close out of USG contracts
Provide support by maintaining the Subject Invention (SI) reporting tools
Track and submit contractually required SI reports, election decisions, annual reports, final reports and confirmatory licenses to the USG
Assist the IPCOE with various updates to the SI reporting process and procedures
Build an understanding of database knowledge by working on enhancements to the SI reporting tool
Process and manage the IFL awards for SI submissions
The candidate must be pursuing MS in Business/Law or any related field.
General understanding of technology and emerging technology areas
General understanding of intellectual property and the patent process
Understanding of basic contract terminology
Ability to analyze data in order to solve problems and make decisions
Moderate understanding and ability to use Microsoft Excel
Understanding of the US Government data rights clauses
Understanding of the US Government software and technical data rights terminology and contractual clauses
Understanding of emerging technology markets and Intel specific technology
