Intel Cloud Software Engineer Grad Intern in Hillsboro, Oregon
The Software Defined Solutions Group is looking for software engineering interns interested in gaining experience in developing orchestration software for private cloud management.
This internship will provide a collaborative environment where engineers will design and implement software services within a Kubernetes platform. Candidates will use the latest programming languages, technologies, and agile methodologies to code, integrate, and package software for internal and external stakeholders. To be considered for the position, candidates should possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Pursuing a MS/PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
6+ months experience:
In one or more virtual environments: KVM, Openstack, Kubernetes
With Git and Gerrit code development tools/processes
Preferred experience in the following:
With software requirement review and design
With open source development
With Agile methodology/process
With Jira team collaboration tools
With Private/Public Cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration and management
