Microchip Technology Administrator-HR in Gresham, Oregon

Description

Microchip Technology is seeking a full time, entry level HR Assistant to join our team in our Gresham, Oregon office. This dynamic position will provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Duties include (but are not limited to)

  • Provide professional first point of contact for HR support to employees

  • Perform administrative functions including scheduling, creation of personnel files, filing and file room maintenance

  • Enter and audit employment data into HRIS system

  • Assist in the on-boarding process, including candidate outreach, scheduling candidate interviews and pre-employment testing administration

  • Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and create new hire packets/materials

  • Run weekly/monthly/quarterly reports

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Regular and predictable attendance

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Flexibility to accommodate changing priorities

  • Keen attention to detail and organization

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to lift, pull and carry heavy/bulky personnel files and work in a confined space for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, Communication or related field
