WorkSource Oregon Veterinary Receptionist/Office Manager in Gold Beach, Oregon

Looking for a professional, proactive, neat individual to provide excellent customer service at the busy front desk of our veterinary clinic. Must be efficient, accurate, and have excellent communication skills. Must be able to multitask in a hectic environment without errors. Must be responsible, punctual, ethical, and possess integrity and common sense. We are willing to train a team player who can handle a sharp learning curve. Animal background is preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Keeping accurate, detailed records in organized, legible handwriting * Successfully prioritize incoming calls on multi-lined phones, client check-ins and -outs, and doctor's needs/requests * Remain pleasant and professional at all times * Schedule appointments efficiently and control daily traffic flow of clients and pets * Be comfortable using computers, including veterinary software, MS Word, MS Excel * Processing daily money transactions and receipts * Update and track: client data, medical data, supply inventory * Regularly order pet food, office supplies, etc. * Monthly billing * Reviewing client records and mailing out reminders bi-monthly Rate of pay starts at $12/hr, will be raised after training period, will be merit related. Full time position of 32+ hrs/week or more as needed. Monday through Thursday, 8:30pm - 5:30pm
