The Applied Materials HR Technology and Analytics team (HRTA) is actively recruiting for a Senior Workday Compensation Analyst. As a Workday Compensation Analyst, you will work with Rewards CoE globally, different teams within HRTA to successfully enable and implement globally key initiatives to support advanced compensation in Workday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advanced subject matter expert in Workday advanced compensation to support system configuration, operation and administration

  • Lead projects (using Project Mgmt skills) including gathering requirements, configuration, application testing, implementation, enhancements/upgrades, new functionality investigation and deployment

  • Work collaboratively with Rewards, HR partners and team members to troubleshoot, research, and escalate issues as necessary ensuring that users are updated on the status and addressing issues timely

  • Proactively identify and initiate improvement opportunities around system, process, data and user experience, and recommend options to leaders with justification, impacts and data for the approach

  • Ensure data integrity by understanding and identifying opportunities to improve, working closely with cross-functional teams

  • Create custom reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with timely analytics and identify business trends

  • Develop project plans identifying key dates and resource requirements for the projects

  • Develop and maintain documentation including business and functional specs

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Human Resources preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of Advanced Compensation experience in Workday strongly preferred

  • Must possess a strong understanding of HR processes and data

  • Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements

  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions

  • Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view

  • Must be a demonstrated self-starter; Excellent customer service attitude

  • Demonstrates strong written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Must have demonstrated discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information

  • Must be flexible to ensure that user needs are supported when required

  • PMP Certification nice to have
