Assembly Technician I

Responsibilities:

An Assembly Technician I will be learning all Philips Neuro system products, parts and assembly procedures. Will need to utilize various electronic test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, hand and power tools, and power supplies. Perform minor soldering and electronic repair.

Must be mechanically/electronically inclined.

Previous Solder experience a plus(or trainable).

Windows and Mac experience

Ability to lift 33lbs (moving/unpacking iMacs) daily.

Lift/move 60 lbs occasionally (1x a day or so).

Will also need to assemble carts or other large items and put them in wooden shipping crates.

Help delivery drivers load those crates (with pallet jack).

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Skills:

Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies. Perform incoming inspections. An Assembly Technician I will assemble and modify, fabricated parts at floor stations, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications, identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and arrange for repair as necessary. An Assembly Technician I must also become familiar with regulatory standards as well as medical GMP's and safety requirements as documented in the company's quality system. An Assembly Technician I may also assist in the packaging of shipments and be required to maintain records of inventory transactions. An Assembly Technician I may also be required to work with Engineering and customer support in the repair of customer returns.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work independently and in a team environment with minimal direct supervision.
