As a Senior Drinking Water Project Manager in Portland, or Corvallis, OR, you will have a chance to be a leader in improving the water industry. Working with other members of our team, you’ll lead municipal water system project delivery and client services in planning, design, and services during construction. The candidate shall have interest and abilities in leading master plans and water quality studies, in addition to design projects. As a Project Manager you will deliver work in alignment with Jacobs’ systems and processes to manage scope/schedule budget, enhance project success and drive high quality, on-time performance to fully meet our clients’ needs. A minimum 10 years’ experience in municipal drinking water; 15-20 years is ideal.
BS minimum, MS preferred, in civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
Project management experience for water utility projects
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work
Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure from the State of Oregon or ability to obtain within 3 months.
