Minimum/Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Education, Library Science, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; or, a Master's Degree in another field with three years of professional experience working with OER. Demonstrated excellence in written, digital, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, especially in communicating persuasively and clearly with other professional colleagues. Demonstrated professional success as a strategic thinker. Demonstrated success with project management. Proven record of success in managing a complex long-term program or initiative involving multiple stakeholders. Professional experience working in a higher education environment demonstrating the ability to work with faculty, staff, and other departments throughout the institution and at other colleges and universities. Position Duties 40% ' Leadership and Administration of Ecampus OER Unit: Provides clear and innovative leadership for the Ecampus OER unit and its programming and initiatives. Recommends and facilitates the adoption of high-quality OER to reduce financial burden for students; raises awareness of creative commons licenses and provides guidance and programming to help faculty adapt existing OER to suit specific curricular needs; oversees the development and delivery of new and updated OER; establishes and maintains quality standards including peer review processes and web accessibility standards; administers programming related to OER adoption, adaptation, and authorship; advocates for sound policies relating to OER and the affordability of course materials; sets long- and short-term unit goals; provides outreach about OER and OER initiatives for colleges, departments, programs, and individuals; oversees the inclusion of OSU-created OER in appropriate repositories; practices data-driven decision making.
