Machinist

Do you enjoy hands-on work and have an eye for detail? Do you have previous Press Brake experience? If so, we have the perfect position for you! We are currently hiring a Machinist for a fast-paced warehouse in Portland. This position is looking to hire as quickly as possible, if you feel this role is a fit for you I encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities

• Interpret information from drawings with strong attention to detail

• Set-up and operate CNC Press Brake

• Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions

• Maintain all required tolerances and quality on all fabricated equipment

• Meet daily/weekly/monthly targets

• Comply with health and safety regulations, the company handbook, quality standards, and all other company policies and procedures

• Communicate with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and resolve machining or quality issues.

• Complete all required documentation

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

Skills

• CNC Press Brake Operation (1 year of experience is required)

Education

• High School (required)
