Aerotek Drafter in Clackamas, Oregon

Aerotek is seeking a 2-3 year Inventor Drafter to work on concrete forming equipment. This person will be doing some modeling as well as making 2D shop fabrication drawings.

This is an immediate need for our client and they will be working under/alongside 3 other individuals which will complete their Engineering and Sales team.



-Advanced part and assembly modeling using Derived parts, multi-body parts, and Skeletal modeling.

-Understanding of Sheet Metal parts including forming, rolling and flat layouts without doubled lines.

-Basic understanding of iLogic, as many of our existing models contain code.

-Understanding of Levels of Detail, Position and View representations.

-Experience creating parameter driven adaptable models.

-Experience creating thorough layouts, understanding what views, sections and details will clearly relay the model information to the fabrication department.


-Ability to create and utilize standard and dynamic blocks to create concept drawings.

-Able to accurately do material take-offs and create dxfs from customer prints and sketches.

-Clean and accurate line work is a must.
