Volt in partnership with Qorvo would like to talk to you about a Manufacturing Technician opportunity located in Bend OR. Our client manufactures semiconductors in a full and semi clean room environment. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, able to follow precise procedures, and able to adapt to an ever-changing production environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Adhere to company policies such as those relating to safety and quality
Perform manual and semi-automated processes on wafers or cingulated die, which could include thin film deposition, photolithography, electrical test, inspections, and assembly operations
Good hand/eye coordination for handling product using hand tools such as tweezers, must be able to work under low power stereo microscope
Follow written procedures and build instructions
Collect accurate data and record work completed using logs and databases
Perform routine PM and calibration tasks for equipment
Monitor processes to ensure product fabrication is within control limits
Document tool, process, and product performance with escalation when appropriate
Occasionally work with engineering team to support running experiments
Drive implementation of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) ideas
Ability to learn new processes quickly and willingness to cross-train in additional areas
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
High School diploma minimum required.
Experience in a production environment, minimum 1-year experience recommended but NOT required
Computer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
The ideal candidate will have strong sense of leadership and integrity
Excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail
Must be a team player who works well within a small team environment
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
