Kforce has a client in search of an UX Designer in Beaverton, Oregon (OR).Summary: Our client, a leader in the retail construction space, is looking for a User Experience Designer to work in there Beaverton, OR office. You will be part of an Agile web development team, responsible for our user experience and design. This is an ideal position for someone who is collaborative, creative, and excited about creating quality designs that take complex information and processes into intuitive online tools. This position will require a lot of interaction with other team members with differing view points each of which is valuable and needs to be taken into consideration.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop UI/UX designs, using best practices

  • Constantly improve user interface based on customer/employee feedback

  • Integrate visual designs into a final, seamless user experience

  • Present ideas, concepts using wire frames

  • Create, use, maintain our UI/UX/design style guide

  • Keep up to date with new developments in UI/UX

  • Present creative ideas to management

  • Accept multiple changes to initial outlines as ideas come in

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Minimum 3 years designing modern customer facing interfaces and productivity tools

  • Experience in Interface Design, Visual Design, or related discipline

  • Experience using (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

  • Understanding of proper mobile interface design/best practices

  • Portfolio that demonstrates integrating designs into a final product

  • Portfolio that features simple, creative design using best practices

  • Excellent team-building, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask

  • Ability to hand code CSS, HTML
