Description

As a Senior Support Engineer, you will:

  • Provide Mission Critical support for a large stack of applications supporting the North America Business.

  • Be our primary support engineer, working closely with business partners, and the development team to triage, identify and resolve issues within defined SLA’s.

  • Work closely with offshore L-1 support resources to coordinate efforts, and delegate support tasks.

  • Work within an agile team to develop new software solutions for the North America business.

  • Work on enhancing, and refactoring existing applications in various legacy technology stacks

  • Ensure product and technical features are delivered to spec and on-time

  • Develop tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for the technology foundation of our platform

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Masters’ or Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Our ideal candidate has strong capability in the following areas

  • Production Support (triage, solve, deploy)

  • Solutions Development (web/services/mobile/frameworks)

  • DevOps (build/test/containerize/deploy)

  • Database technologies (administration/development)

  • Cloud Technologies (AWS/Azure)

  • Server Administration (Windows/Linux)

  • 5+ years providing responsive front line, and second level support for wide variety of applications (web, services, desktop, mobile) in high pressure, fast-paced environment.

  • Continually coordinating closely with tech team, and business partners.

  • Utilizing ServiceNow, V1 for incident, and backlog tracking

  • Utilizing Tableau for generating service related metrics reporting

  • 2+ years of experience in QA/Testing

  • Test script Development

  • Manual testing Experience

  • Knowledge of automated testing techniques

  • 2+ years experience in supporting, debugging, and refactoring existing applications (web focus)

  • Including: classic asp, vbscript, python

  • 1+ years working knowledge, troubleshooting skills with enterprise ERP systems

  • JBA

  • SAP

  • 2+ years of experience in developing robust, highly scalable, web based enterprise solutions, services, and frameworks.

  • 2+ years of experience developing solutions with Microsoft .NET framework.

  • Including: ASP.NET forms, ASP.NET MVC, Vb.net

  • 1+ years developing solutions with java

  • 1+ years in Python, and Node.js

  • 2+ years administering windows servers

  • including troubleshooting/configuring IIS, user administration, etc.

  • 2+ years experience with Linux administration

  • including Apache administration, package installations,etc.

  • 1+ years DevOps experience

  • ability to troubleshoot a CI pipeline including project build, test automation, deployment, etc.

  • Experience with IaC using Terraform/Cloud Formation

  • Experience with powershell, including building scripts for automation of server configuration

  • 1+ years experience with Azure

  • Experience configuring servers, services via Portal

  • 1+ years of experience in Python development

  • 1+ years of Hands-on experience with AWS

  • Experience utilizing AWS technologies for troubleshooting/provisioning services

  • including but not limited to EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, ElasticSearch, Snowflake, RDS, SQS, SNS and Lambda( Node.JS)

  • 2+ years experience with MS SQL Server

  • Administration(user administration, indexing, jobs, etc)

  • Schema design

  • be able to understand various sql schemas, write/debug Stored Procs, and perform basic sql administration.

  • experience building/enhancing/troubleshooting reports with SSRS/ Tableau

Additionally -

  • Strong Experience with both relational and No-SQL databases

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other container technologies

  • Experience with participating in projects in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment

  • Exposure to Agile and test-driven development, ideally knowledge of the SAFe methodology

  • Exposure to hierarchical and distributed code repository management tools like GIT

  • Incredible communications skills
